Everything I know about Mastodon

I look forward to the followings:

- silo-effect: selective countries being blocked.

- Steep increase in Echo chambers thereby not getting closer toward fostering a common goal of mass mutual understanding and common knowledge.

- numerous moderators of unknown quality can peer into your direct messages (DM). Not so private.

- apps have terrible privacy control. Then again, so does Twitter.

- log files are an iffy proposition, some servers do and some don't.

Not!
