Ask HN: Best way to learn programming via C#?

We hired an intern recently who is learning to program. He is hitting a wall because he needs to learn some proper software engineering (object oriented or otherwise) and computer science, but all the resources we can recommend are for c/c++ or python, but we are using c# for this project and he uses c#.

Does anybody have a good recommendation for a book, or better, a video course?
