What are some best lighters (with its flint) keep on sparking, quite easily yields fire, even on a rather contradicting / harsh condition such as moisten, wet etc

If you like overexpensive nordic gadgets, check out https://kaarilighters.com/

I haven't tried these myself, as I can get 10 packs of matches with 1/50 of the price of one of these...

Or a Firestone :)

I've had to laugh hard when a friend of mine wanted to use a Firestone to light up his cigarette... First light up some wool, then light up the cig haha

the cheap disposable Bic is unbeatable. Fancy designs do not work any better; and you can bring 10 or 20 of the cheap disposables for the price of a Zippo or "camp fire starter" or whatever the over engineered thing is called.

Just heard even for first time: "disposable Bic"

so if don't mind, any elaborated BG / context on it?

beg pardon i assumed these conquered the entire world some time ago.

Ferro rods are pretty cheap on eBay/aliexpress and they do work. They're a lot more trouble for everyday use though.

For harsh environments, I think the best would be to have the burning material being pushed out with pressure. Gas.

Zippo has a lighter with gas-inset. I remember seeing one without a Firestone, but with a spiral that glows.

I may be wrong about zippo, but can tell you, all the lighters without a Firestone & with gas can be used in full wind and rain. I used them frequently in my young years. Also, they come in handy with lighting up fireworks. Perfect!

When you Google "Sturmfeuerzeug", you'll see pictures as examples. From then on, you can search for a fitting one for you.

aye, peace :)

Most of them are disposable, but refillable.

Also, there are some gasless lighters for cigarettes with only a spiral that glows..
