He does have a point. Are tweets considered content? Twitter makes money off of his tweets. Why wouldn’t they cut him a share?

Hmm, I have no idea about the art of the deal (yeah that's a phrase from another giant jerkoff, not this one), but it seems pretty weak to just fold and lower down the price in public like this.

Maybe Elon will introduce red ticks for "celebs", after selling blue ticks to the vain rubes. Hahaha.

I mean that's is the predominate socio-economic organizational structure we indiscriminately apply to every exchange - "temper every material pleasure with monetary pain or monetary pleasure with material pain."

On top of this, we've devised a perverse trick - purposefully make something bad so that people can pay to avoid it. Good on you, if by this point, you're mentally responding with, "but that's just how the world works," and take it one step further with the normative retort of, "but should it?"
