Thing I don't get is people post on public internet and then somehow expect that that information is somehow protected from uses that they don't want.
If you don't want your data mis-used, don't post it on the internet.
Well, this is a weird argument. There are lots of things that are posted on the internet that are illegal to re-post elsewhere without attribution/payment. That's, like... all of internet copyright law.
