We here in the west aren’t a homogeneous society. That’s the point of the west. It’s opt-in and generally lets locals do what locals want (with exceptions, of course, but as a trend.)
I think it’s time to renew that what may be good or even just the decided path of one polity doesn’t have to be and probably can’t be universally applicable nor appealing to the larger western world order. The point is whether the relevant politicians and leaders generally agree with western trade policies, international treaties/agreements and things like borders and rule of law.

The problem is that it was either Lula, or Bolsonaro, which is neither a good politician or human being.
Is this a bad politician or a bad human being?
It's all so tiresome.
