And the reality of the matter: you should not depend on container queries on public internet things yet, because Chrome has had them for less than two months, Safari for a month and a half, and Firefox hasn’t got them yet (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1744221, and it looks still some way off)—and it won’t have percolated through to half the common other mobile browsers, either. Try again maybe early 2024. (In all this, I say depend, because progressive enhancements are always fair game, if you weigh things in the balance and ensure it all still works acceptably without it.)
