Former President Donald Trump says his Twitter account reinstated on Monday

Link doesn't go to a tweet. Was it deleted?

Who is watcherguru anyway, and why should we trust them?

Republican leaders live in fear of Trump tweets, now they have to fall in line (which includes supporting Trump's lies about "stolen election") or be taken down by a Trump tweet. Not great for democracy.

If he clicked through T&C to reactivate it, he's explicitly agreed a contract (of sorts. Can I say a social contract? Joke..) to behaviour. If they just restored it, he may not have acceded to any terms of use beyond the initial ones but I am sure the terms include ".. or as modified subsequently" language.

I'd love to know if he did. "He" here may well mean his comms team, it's never been clear to me how much Trumpf is in Trump online. Some, but ... all?

If this is true, it's a political act. An act of political consequences. If they edit his tweets likewise.

what amazing timing completely coincidental with the midterm elections

Trump doesn't need a Twitter account now that he built a Twitter alternative called Truth.
