Saw on TV that china is committed to merge taiwan by any means (or this is scare propaganda). China has nukes, then the US and others will only provides weapons, and taiwan ppl will have to do the dying themselves (exactly like Ukraine).

Either Taiwan gets a nuclear shield which is NATO alike (a country ready to die with them in a nuclear war) or it is a "done deal".

I guess leading-edge chip manufacturing will have to move in a country without an authoritative regime and with an explicit nuclear shield.
