Meta makes the apps. Apple makes the phones.

Obv they need to split the profits somehow, it does make sense.

not even sure if you're joking or not.. apple already makes tremendous profit on the hardware.

That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be allowed to make a profit on services and software. That’s the direction the auto industry is moving as well.
