German coalition divided over sale of port terminal stake to China’s Cosco

Hey Germany remember that fantastic natural gas deal you did with Russia? How’s that going?

German here. It feels like our politicans are just selling our future for "access to markets". Gas pipelines, this terminal, strategic companies, IP and knowhow. Everything for access to markets.

Fine as long as these deals are not made with people who never hold their promises.

I will never understand this.
