This is pretty sweet. Just curious, why the hard dependency on IntelliJ/VsCode (with the notable lack of Eclipse)? I'm sure there's a design decision there, just curious what drove that.

Founder of AppMap here. We are a seed stage company so we’re building out as resources allow! Would love to get to Eclipse at some point.

You can also do all the AppMap things using the command line - make AppMaps, open them in your browser, run analysis. But because it’s less tightly integrated with the code, some people find it less satisfying.

If you want try out a purely CLI experience, install @appland/appmap from NPM and run the help command. You’ll see a full suite of commands.
