Republican party sues Google over spam policies

I believe this is the study mentioned in the tweet: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2203.16743.pdf

I'd say that mass unsolicited emails asking for money are the definition of spam and by default mail filters should get rid of all - republican, democrat, or Nigerian princess.

Google rolled out program to allow political spam a month ago, but this article claims the Republicans aren't using it: https://www.theverge.com/2022/10/13/23403259/google-gmail-re...

Spending party member money on frivolous lawsuit, when Google’s already made the case to congress that there isn’t a human in the loop. Seems wasteful and wishful.
