Peter Singer Is the Philosopher of the Status Quo

I'm hard pressed to think of a man best known for advocating veganism as a "philosopher of the status quo".

He is a utilitarian, and I have qualms with both utilitarianism and the Effective Altruism implementation of it. But TFA builds a weirdly personal attack on him, rather than engaging with the balance he's trying to strike.
