Information Dynamics and the Arrow of Time

Entropy should be redefined as “the distribution of potential over negative potential “ as this covers cases both in physics and information theory.

The arrow of time would then be the entropic dilation of objective reality (the manifest form of all potential in the universe.)

It is not that things cannot be “undone” rather that the potential necessary to restore them are many times greater (as distributed over space and conversion to heat through work) than their original form.
