Ask HN: Developer friendly phone/VoIP service

I have lost the bookmark and have forgotten the name of the phone/VOIP service that popped up on HackerNews. It was a cheap, developer-friendly service — something like a one-time purchase of the number, then top-up for usage. I hope to jolt my memory after reading the ones you use.

VoIP.ms?

They tick your boxes. I’ve used them personally and professionally for 10 years now. During that time I can count on half of one hand the number of issues we’ve had. The service just works, and does so for a very reasonable price.

There are so many companies in this space. Try doing an alternative to search of Twilio and you will get a lot of results.
