Criterion Channel curates classics instead of modern Netflix monotony

I get this -

Sorry. This is currently unavailable in your region.

Is this only for the US?

Must be :(

Which here can be read:

"Sorry, we can't accept your money. Ironically, the producers greed in trying to squeeze more money out of this content with artificial regionalisation, means you have to get it for free on Bittorrent instead"

Criterion Channel stems from Criterion Collection [1], which has been my source of inspiration for finding great classics for many-many years.

I was buying DVDs from them but nowadays torrent trackers are much more user friendly.

Mubi (www.mubi.com) is another channel with similar content.
