Older Entrepreneurs Outperform Younger Founders–Shattering Ageism

It young people have more energy and less attachments making it easier for them to “hustle and grind” and move their entire life across the country or even the globe, in order to chase money and talent… which makes for more interesting and visible stories which fuel the perception of young founders as being the best and most successful ones in the business discourse.

As an ageing entrepreneur outside the US bubble… good riddance. Older founders have learned to spot a stupid idea before they waste someone’s money on it, often to the point they can bootstrap a successful business because they know what the heck they are doing with the money and the business domain.

As an old person, I agree. Too many times, the younger generations forget why some things come to be. It's important to understand the problem domain and be open to new and old solutions.
