https://doge.hair/ So I made what Elon has been talking about - a decentralized social network with all the posts stored on the Dogecoin blockchain.

*HN doesn't seem to be able to handle the .hair tld, so submitted as a discussion instead

Can you write up how you did this? I'm really curious how you put transactions on the Blockchain originating in the browser. This is really interesting. Did you use any open source libraries for this?

Sure, but I need some help testing out the site - ask me some questions at doge.hair and I'll answer there - let me know if you need some dogecoin to get started.

If you are open to transferring some, that's probably easier. How do I find my address on the site?

Edit: looks like this is it: DS5DB8B6zjUQxEYef9wGcER6iW2Nh9vXtD

I'm curious how you would protect those things (private key that is associated with the address) if they are stored in the browser, it isn't hard to pull data from local storage inside an Android app by injection of JavaScript, for example. Would love to discuss on the site if you can help me understand how to load dogecoin there.

Ok! Send you some satoshis. click refresh on your wallet

Wonderful! I may offer a tweet2chain.com option to mirror on the dogecoin chain now.

And the point of this is...?

How can this not be GDPR-illegal?
