Gentoo-based distros merge: Funtoo and Sabayon Linux = MocaccinoOS

Kinda old and inaccurate nowadays news. Mocaccino was announced (2020) as Sabayon rebrand[1], on same day an announcement was made that Funtoo was joining[2], and a little more than a year later the two failed apart[2]. Funnily Mocaccino was never even mentioned on Funtoo's site.

Is this classic HN? I haven't been lurking long enough to know, but... this is pretty darn niche.

I think this is actually a combined fork.
