Sounds like its just managed Citus/PG and has little or nothing to do with Cosmos DB. MS is so bad a branding and naming products.

microsoft already have Managed citusDB. it’s called Azure postgresql Hyperscale!

They probably just renamed it and are making a big deal about it but in the end will confuse all customers as to why it’s unrelated to cosmosdb and to cosmos datalake

I got quite excited thinking this would also offer the Cosmos serverless deployments for a super cheap Postgres for side projects but alas, $200.
