In the west, an advanced industry of NGOs, charities, and foundations has evolved which funds so much of the weirdness in our daily lives. A caste of activist-professionals have emerged, which inevitably capture any non-profit with spare cash.

If you are a neoliberal in the vein of a Reagan or Obama politically (so, most modern day Democrats and many current Republicans), odds are good Wikipedia will let you post without much trouble.
It is imperative to find out how this process starts and what can be done to thwart these activists. There are plenty of targets left for takeover - e.g. the Debian project and the Linux kernel (which already has accepted the 'Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct', a clear entry point for activism into the project) to give a few examples.
