A publication having a political bias doesn't correlate to every product of that publication being one which broadly represents its political association.

Nor can you in good faith generalize the ideas of a single person to be representative of all members of the political party that individual claims to be a part of.

Did I say anywhere that she wasn't a conservative? You clearly misunderstand the no true Scotsman fallacy.

This thinking is the exact reasoning I try to avoid any form of self labeling. Everyone else is going to assume since you share a label you must agree 100% with all opinions of another person of the same label.

I'll add that every conservative in my life would be against this. It actually the kind of thing they hate most about the democratic party policies they complain about: government mandated. Does the topic of vaccine mandates ring a bell?
