Amazon Studios Head Breaks Down the $700M ‘Rings of Power’ Gamble

Even to those of us who are not hardcore cinemaphiles the horrible writing is obvious very, very much.

This article seems to be a damage control article for this Jen Salke so that she doesn't get sacked for this horror of a show, I mean how is it possible to have such terrible screenwriting?

450M$ and they couldn't hire another more experienced screenwriter to atleast go through the script to point out the stupidities?

There have to be some serious egos/SJWs involved in this.

Here is a potential explanation for why this shitshow of a tv series happened:

>> Then #MeToo swept through Hollywood like a typhoon. The head of Prime Video got caught up in it and had to be fired. Jennifer Salke was brought in to start making Woke content and one of her first decisions was to shitcan Conan on grounds of toxic masculinity. Put a gigantic pin in that one, we are circling back to it. She replaced it with Wheel of Time which is almost but not quite as big a disaster as The Rings of Power.

So basicaly Jen Stalke screwed up already once badly with the Wheel of Time, I think Bezos is just using this is a SJW excuse get-out-of-jail free card since if he gets on the SJWs bad side he can always point to Jen Stalke and her SJW shows and say "see, I'm on your side, look at how much money I gave to your woke productions, stop attacking me! I'm a friend of wokeness!"
