Why is that a blunder of any important magnitude? As a physicist I do not think so. It's actually pretty common to make mistakes like that in physics. And physicists are not particularly careful about their presentations, even very important ones. We don't have the sense to care much about this things. "Official Nobel presentation" is still seen as "just a talk"
