100% solar community endured Hurricane Ian no loss of power, minimal damage

"community designed from ground up to resist hurricanes manages to resist a hurricane". Well, yeah.

Still a data point in favor of solar, because you'd naively expect them to be damaged by very high winds. But I guess they're resilient enough.

If they hadn't built solar panels then all of the surrounding areas wouldn't have lost power.
