Tesla previews humanoid robot, but Musk cautions it is not ready just yet

My bet is that they will never produce it. Elon is making increasingly impossible predictions for some time already, without delivering anything new - this 'robot' doesn't seem anywhere close to ready. If there were a working prototype doing any meaningful work they would show it doing it on stage and not some videos from the factory.

PS. That's not to diminish what Elon already accomplished with Tesla and SpaceX.

not ready just yet? It looks like it barely does anything

Rats. No "sudo make me a sandwich"?

It looks like it can barely execute "lumber onstage" in debug mode...

'sudo' - command not found

It's never ready with Musk.

Neuralink: check

FSD: check

Robot: check

Sending crew to the ISS ... Hmm.

Putting satellites in orbit ... Hmm.

Not to say that EM isn't a complete jerk who over-promises, under-delivers, and is sometimes just bizarre, but some of his companies/initiatives have delivered.
