Putin grants Russian citizenship to former US security contractor Edward Snowden

Will he now be called up and used as cannon fodder?

Highly doubtful—I'd imagine his technical abilities are more needed than ever now, given how many tech folks are trying to get out of Russia.

But I do have to wonder what his arrangement with Putin's regime is. Seems unlikely that they just gave him a place to crash without expecting something in return.

More likely he'll die in a fall or "commit suicide" like so many other prominent Russians this year:

The tweet has no information other than the headline. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/putin-grants-russian-ci... might be a better source.

Also it seems to be slanted, is it really Putin doing it? And wtf is pa.media, a website/Twitter account hoping you'd confuse it with AP (Associated Press)?

If only there was some way to find out, about pages, google etc.

Don't be lazy, it means you post stuff like that and look stupid.
