Manifest V3: The Ghostery Perspective (2021)

> declarativeNetRequest (DNR) instead of webRequest API

Very irritating. This has broken my extensions, and there is not an easy or medium difficulty mechanism to correct.

I don’t know how to express my distaste for some of these v3 changes

So weird to see someone praising Apple and knocking Google, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised when it comes to ads.

That said, my ad-blocking experience on MacOS definitely got worse before improving recently, so even the movie Ghostery praised here disrupted things for me.

(2021)

Added above. Thanks!

It would be very interesting to get a retrospective of how things are going for them now, a few months before the Manifest V2 cutoff.
