Cybersickness Could Spell an Early Death for the Metaverse

An early death? Perhaps they mean "late news of a death that occurred a long time ago."

The metaverse (and VR) died some years ago by being relegated to a super niche corner of the web. The proof is Second Life, a product no one in today's metaverse space seems to have ever used, least of all Mark Zuckerberg.

All of the excitement about the metaverse and all of its woes have already been experienced and rejected by the market.

This gets easier with practice. It's more likely to affect women. It's best not to "push through", just stop as soon as you're uncomfortable and try doing multiple short sessions instead.
