In Windows 10 the cursor would automatically end up on top of to the start button if you moved your mouse to the corner of your screen. They have completely borked that functionality in Windows 11 and I still don't understand why.
Start menu came out in Windows 95.
Imagine after 28 years of driving cars, the auto manufacturer suddenly swaps the gas / throttle pedal and brake pedal positions on the new model and then acts surprised why people don't like it.
Absolutely horrible. That was the very first setting I changed on every new PC.
Without that, I have no use for the taskbar at all. Now I auto-hide the taskbar, install Powertoys and use Powertoys Run to search for the window I want every time.
What the hell is Microsoft thinking? Doesn't anyone there actually use the stuff they're making?
