#1 - A latent sense of paranoia that drives the development of decentralized technology

it is also possible for you [anyone] to contribute to the effort. even if you have had a checkered past, that can be worked around.

if you use soft drugs, you can dry out. dont lie to them about your intentions, there is a place of greatest effectiveness according to your propensities, this can be worked out. dont lie about your past, if you hide personal leverage points of coercion you are compromised from the start

you dont have to be master chief, or einstien, just very good and very focused on what you do.

All applicants must be:

U.S. citizens (dual U.S. citizens also eligible)

At least 18 years of age

Very true; albeit be warned that the job will most often than not be fairly dull work and not as financially rewarding as a career path in the private sector. While yes, it can be selective, it's not especially intimidating to go through the process. The investigators are regular people such as you're a regular person yourself.

the biggest misperception is the hollywood trope of a high stakes car chase through some foriegn country, perhaps we are both "regular" people ?

That's impressive! Where did they find the time between MKULTRA and overthrowing Latin American governments?

Money is time.

Fascinating, really fascinating*

Everybody here happy that Google "does not sell data" ? Are there still people who have "nothing to hide" ?
