Which companies are protecting your DMs with default end-to-end encryption

I'm still amazed that Twitter acqi-hired Moxie and Whisper Systems years before everyone else...yet it still doesn't have e2e.

When the vendor is 100% in control of the client at either end, whether the messages are "end to end encrypted" is an entirely academic marketing exercise.

But if the clients are your PC and the other guy PC, the keys are stored on both the PCs and not on the server side. This is why it’s end to end.

What do you mean?

The entire point of end to end encryption is that the vendor does have access to the key material.
