I believe the U.S. needs more nuclear power, even if the two recent Vogtle units have had giant cost overruns. Renewables like wind and solar are great, but it seems like the amount of batteries and transmission needed to firm the variable nature of wind/solar will also be massive and I'm not entirely convinced enough lithium exists.
