Want Utopia? Privatize the Government

Maybe I'm taking this way too seriously since the domain is factsofadrunkenman but in case this is serious:

The article proposes an interesting idea and then goes straight to a list of results by claiming that if do x then y will happen without actually explaining a single thing. As a huge M. Friedman fan I would love to understand why this would happen. How/what does privatising the government even work/mean?

I like to imagine that sovereignty would be based on the individual himself, and not on the territory. That is what a private government could be. But well, just an imaginative idea. Nobody can tell for sure how such thing would be, if ever.

Seems like things went downhill since we let the private sector rule, not the other way around

Utopia? Utopia for who? The richest? No thanks - we're already too close to that, and we don't like some of the results.

And, mattrighetti is correct: What evidence is there that the claimed results would follow? None is given. No argument is given. Just "this will produce a miracle". Yeah, forgive me some skepticism...
