I prefer to work with people who improve things when they think of a better idea. What do you do?
Sounds like it encourages a better economic system than the rich man's socialism of VC, which rewards people that can raise funds as opposed to achieving profitability.
And while I agree with the sentiment and think PG and co are right (I've had friends go on the show...just don't do it), I really think it's in bad form to post private correspondence in public--no matter what OP might think about the scruples of the author, etc.
Do you look the families in the eye and tell them "sorry, we could have saved your son/dad/daughter/mother, but we were afraid people would accuse us of 'bad form'".
I look families in the eye everyday. Because I know. If you don't believe, fine! I don't expect anyone to, but do not be an asshole and stand in our way (Looking at you Mercury bank).
And I have my own money and can self-fund the whole thing.
I just need people to #LetMeCode. And unfreeze my bank accounts.
2. Nobody's going to want to invest in someone who blurts private emails out in public. Good luck.
3. He's probably right, tbh.
