I'm bummed about this. I've used the two side-by-side since I learned about this, and it seems like Dark Sky gives far richer detail.

In fact, sometimes, I've noticed that Dark Sky will accurately predict rain when Apple Weather doesn't. (I haven't ever noticed the reverse.)

I’ve noticed the same thing as well. I knew this was coming, but was nonetheless a bit gutted when I saw the headline - I just don’t think Weather is a perfect replacement (yet?) for Dark Sky.

Are you on iOS 16? iOS 15 doesn't fully integrate it.

The incorrect results I'm seeing are in-app—what do you mean that it's not fully integrated in iOS 15?

There's a brand new Weather app in iOS 16. It's (more or less) the same functionality as Dark Sky was.

Prior to iOS 16, Apple Weather was using 'The Weather Company' for their forecasts I believe.

Yep. I’m on ios15 and it says “weather channel” at the bottom
