Digital Caliper Pinouts (2010)

And then got contacted by a blind mechanical engineering student who asked if we could make a set of talking (text-to-speech) digital calipers, which we did: http://www.nerdkits.com/videos/talking_calipers/

Wow this is super cool, I don't use an electronic caliper because I'm cheap (and most of my required tolerances exceed the accuracy they deliver anyway) but had no idea there were any pins on them at all. Glad to see this and hope it inspires some others folks
