Denver Airport Baggage Handling System - system software fiasco of 1993

Engineers said: "baggage handling systems of this size and complexity take 4 years to build, debug and deliver."

Managers said: "the airport opens in 2 years, we told the customers that it will be done & delivered when the airport opens."

The baggage handing system was done almost years after the airport opened.

Was it late?

Was it on time?
