Nice start to an app.

One thing I would recommend is capitalizing the nouns in German. It's really weird seeing them written lowercase.

That would give away a hint to the answer since you'd know if the answer should be capitalized or not depending on whether the English word is a noun, so maybe you could make sure possible answers are all nouns or all non -nouns to compensate.

I really enjoy this. Thank you. I could see all sorts of customization, like spaced repetition based on failures or speed of response, putting two words together, etc.

Currently I'm working on multiplayer and after that probably a leaderboard.

This is great good job. I found the score being cut off vertically on my mobile device and also found the “guess duration” to get impossibly fast after a certain point
