Green jobs, such as installing solar panels made at factories in China electrified by coal burning.

How the hell are we supposed to make solar panels if we aren't allowed to bootstrap a green energy source from not awesome energy sources?

I guess we should just stop all forward progress and let the world stagnate, overheat, and die because some silly people don't understand things need to be bootstrapped

Most solar panels are net negative as far as energy goes, that is to say it takes more energy to create them than the panel produces over its effective lifetime. But, yeah at least it was bootstrapped, right?
