This submission isn't about hacking as in performing illicit code execution or whatever, it's a "linkedin growth tool" to help users spam their feeds. I was slightly disappointed.

It's using a LinkedIn mechanism in a special way to make posted content stand out. Hacking sounds accurate, albeit a growth hack.

Might want to look into what the H of HN stands for.

Huh? I wasn't familiar with LinkedIn Carousels, so I read the description on this site. Then I read their description of what the site does. Then I distracted everyone in the office for a moment with a big "Wut?!".

Is this accurate?:

Carousels are like a slideshow that LinkedIn makes when you upload a PDF. This site uploads a PDF to LinkedIn so that a Carousel is created.

Am I missing something? I hope I am, because if that's what it does, then what the actual eff.

In the ambiguity of the title I was hoping for some juicy CVE. PDFs aren't attack-surface free.

Content about marketing just makes me vaguely sad, but each to their own.

Why is malware even allowed here, especially when it isn't especially interesting?

Absolutely agree. Pure clickbait.

Why wouldn't you include a default example that works every time?

What I tried doesn't work...

invalid json response body at https://tweetpik.com/api/images reason: Unexpected end of JSON input

Can't get thread older than 7 days old

Would be nice to see some example posts.
