2 big mac meals at McDonald's were a bit over $24.00. That's before the wage hike. Everyone needs a just wage so I can see why the minimum wage is going up. But at some point automation will kick in which will make the workers worse off. I wonder what will happen then?

Can I just say, wow, that's insane.

I can feed a family of four from McDonalds for around $24.00 out here in the Midwest. Are your Big Mac meals plated in 14 karat gold out there?

You would think but no gold. Actually, McDonalds is not out of the norm. The cost of living in California is high relative to other places in the U.S.

"Family of four", you say. That's a big difference.

The history of humanity is one of automation improving the quality of life for everyone.
