Ask HN: Will running Stable Diffusion shorten the life of my MacBook?

Seems like it's pushing my M1 MacBook Air to its limits. If I generate a lot of images, am I somehow going to wear out the laptop sooner?

Maximum load for extended periods of time should not cause any damage for any decently designed device.

No more so than watching hours and hours of cat videos, porn, InfoWars, Minecraft videos, whatever.
