Actor Bill Murray lost $185K raised for charity in crypto hack

So the hacker compromised... something, and then the security team had time to notice and somehow move 800 NTFs to their account. I'll admit I have very little knowledge about crypto, but I don't understand how the security team could notice the theft midway.

Could the hacker only move so many things at one time? But then why was the security team able to move everything at once?

It sounds to me like the hacker got away with the somewhat easily laundered funds and the security team tried to cover their ass by saying they saved the hard to launder NFTs. Or the security team was in on it, I have zero trust in a crypto security team.

Easy solution: sell the CryptoPunks and give those proceeds to charity instead.
