Just FYI moog music’s employees have been trying to unionize and the corp has been doing some shady union busting tactics (and some shady employment practices that kicked off the unionization effort in the first place). Personally I won’t be buying from them until they allow the union to form unimpeded or the workers reject it.

Acting together with your fellow workers is how people who work take power back from people who own. Willfully turning your back on that is… short sighted to say the least. Unless your income comes from ownership, in which case you’re closing the door behind you - a worse thing to do, in my opinion.

I prefer to work with people who are working for the same reasons, and don't resort to legal warfare to do so. You either agree to work together or don't, find another company elsewise.

Presumably you negotiated your current employment contract, yeah? Wages, responsibilities, etc.

Unions aren’t “legal warfare” - they’re a tool to help contract negotiations when a group of employees doesn’t have enough power to be treated fairly as individuals.

It sounds like you’ve been lucky enough to not be in the circumstance of being treated unfairly as an individual. I’m happy that’s been the case - but that’s no excuse for ignoring when that happens to others.

What you can visit, is the spiritual successor (debatable), which is Center for Contemporary Music (CCM).

Any recommendations for museums with analog instruments that we can visit?

Los Angeles has the Vintage Synth Museum in Highland Park. They’ll even let you play with them, by appointment.
