Ask HN: Are you a designer learning coding?

Are you a visual designer or UX designer learning coding? Interested to hear your reasons for learning programming.

Is it one of the following reasons (or a combination)?

- Build your own product (i.e. learn programming so you won't have to rely on other delevlopers).

- Learn coding to add another skill to your toolbox, but not looking to becoming a full-time developer.

- Learning to understand the techology or the language of developers, but not looking to change your design role.

- Learning programming to become a full-time developer (change career).
