Regulated Election Markets

The time has finally come. After nearly a year of engagement with the CFTC (federal regulator) to enable Kalshi to list election markets on our exchange, the CFTC just announced that it is seeking public comment on our market for a 30-day review period before it will make a determination.

The election markets are the holy grail and this is a critical step towards our mission of expanding access to the utility of the derivative markets from Wall Street to Main Street.
