Ever since I saw a chorded keyboard demonstrated in The Mother of All Demos I've been totally sold and have wanted one of my own.
Personally, I'd want to use one just for programmable macros instead of general typing. So something more like a "function keyboard" rather than something like a stenotype.
It could actually make a great beginner hardware hacking project?
