Quite possibly one of the awesomest infographics of all time. This puts even Tufte to shame. There's an amazing amount of detail, information, nuance, and a little humor in here.
I'd like to know what tools Randall uses to create this and similar graphics (see his radiation plot from earlier this year: http://xkcd.com/radiation/ ).
